Temple Of The Dog: per Chris Cornell non è ancora finita

A fine 2016 i Temple Of The Dog sono andati in tour per la prima volta nella loro storia, per una manciata di date negli Stati Uniti, per celebrare i 25 anni del loro omonimo nonché unico album, pubblicato nel 1991 in onore del compianto Andy Wood. Si pensava che l’avventura del più famoso supergruppo del grunge fosse iniziata e finita lì, ma nel corso di una recente intervista concessa a Den Of Geek proprio Chris Cornell ha affermato che, pur non sapendo ancora né in che modo né quando, la storia dei Temple Of The Dog potrebbe non essersi conclusa. Qui in basso un paio di estratti dall’intervista, in cui Cornell si dimostra possibilista, compatibilmente con gli impegni dei vari soggetti coinvolti (oltre Cornell, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament e Mike McCready dei Pearl Jam e Matt Cameron di Soundgarden/Pearl Jam).

It was really an amazing experience so I think we’re all motivated to do something again. The only obstacle really is the same one that’s always been there, which is that everybody’s always busy. So it literally has to be planned ahead by two years and that’s a hard thing to do. But it’s something that we definitely want to do.

Whether it’s possibly doing some new songs or just getting out and playing more shows, maybe in other parts of the world we haven’t gone into, I don’t know. But everybody kind of wants to do something.
