L’edizione 2018 del Meltdown Festival, in programma dal 15 al 24 Giugno al Southbank Centre di Londra, sarà curata da Robert Smith (qui in basso le sue dichiarazioni al riguardo). Il frontman dei The Cure è solo l’ultimo della serie di grandi artisti cui è stata affidata la curatela del festival nel corso degli anni, vedi David Bowie o Morrissey. Il Meltdown si terrà solo poche settimane prima del grande evento celebrativo del quarantennale dei The Cure.
I am honoured and excited to be curating the 25th Meltdown. More than 30 of my all-time favourite artists – some of the most exciting, inspirational, intense and influential performers of the last 40 years – will make sure this 10-night extravaganza is the must-see event of the summer!
